Kasa organizes red carpet event ‘Kathmandu Fashion Gala’ – Myrepublica

KATHMANDU, Nov 27: Kasa organized a ‘Kathmandu Fashion Gala’ fashion show in BabarMahal on Saturday evening on the occasion of the company’s fifth anniversary.

In the red carpet event, 14 celebrities including Chef Santosh Shah, Miss World Nepal, doctors, Miss Universe Nepal, Nepali actors and actresses, singers, fashion designers, makeup artists and other prominent people joined the event and walked on the ramp.

Addressing the event, Ramila Nemkul, CEO of Kasa, said, “We are organizing this red carpet event in Nepal for the first time. It is not merely fashion glamor but also business. The fashion industry is the second biggest industry in the world. But in Nepal, this industry has not flourished much. So, we have organized the ‘Kathmandu Fashion Gala’. By organizing such events, it provides an opportunity to the fashion designing sector and other individuals involved in this sector can introduce and communicate with each other.

At the event, Pankaj K Gupta, founder of the Everest Show, announced that Kasa is also going to organize ‘The Everest Show’ on Mount Everest. Previously, Kasa had also set two Guinness World Records of the highest ramp walk by organizing a fashion show in Kala Patthar (5,644 meters) and Gokyo (5,500 meters). According to Gupta, Kasa is now attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the third time with ‘The Everest Show’.
