FootJoy x Todd Snyder Is a Link-Up for the Record Books

Links legends rejoice: FootJoy x Todd Snyder is back. Just like their last go-around, the duo’s latest collection is packed with swaggering, retro-doused golf gear to keep you coming correct all season long. And, as expected, the latest batch of goodies isn’t your average mix of sporty, logo-heavy polyester shirts and stretchy pants—it’s a smorgasbord of summer-ready menswear that’ll make the crossover from the 19th hole to wherever you’re headed after with ease. Sure, you’ll find plenty of the requisite course-specific items (a ‘90s-era Fred Couples-style visor, a revamped pair of FootJoy’s best-in-class golf shoes), but from a pure style POV, the most exciting pieces are the vintage-inspired sweater vests, seersucker shorts, and Harrington jackets—along with a helluva lot of excellent polos.

There are still a couple of reliable pique options in the mix (which look pretty classic, but are cut from a nifty sweat-wicking cotton), along with an airy mesh number with handsome contrast tipping. But the real ace here is the full-placket knits. Unlike the polos you see on TV every weekend, these sweater hybrids don’t scream “endorsement deal”—instead, they crib most of their visual language from the enormously popular Talented Mr. Ripley riffs Snyder puts out each season. Which means they’ll make you the best-dressed fella among your group of weekend hackers, but will also look killer with roomy chinos and loafers on the days you simply wished you were on the links.
