Justin and Hailey Bieber Are Back at It Again With the Matching Outfits

As far as celebrity couples go, Justin and Hailey Bieber tend to look like they got dressed to leave the house together while operating under two entirely different sets of expectations for what the day may bring. Attending a red carpet premiere? Hailey’s glammed up in a bedazzled designer dress and heels, while Justin’s at ease in a goofy turtleneck sweatshirt and Stussy bucket hat. Going for a stroll around the city? Hailey’s in a chic taupe twinset; Justin’s in a lipstick-red oversized raincoat. Generally speaking: When Hailey zigs, Justin zags.

But for the occasion of an evening dinner at Italian joint Daphne’s in London this week, the Biebers pivoted hard in the opposite direction, opting for near-matching boxy black leather bomber jackets, black sunglasses, and light-wash jeans. They each put their own spin on the particulars—the hems of Justin’s Our Legacy jeans pooled around his crisp white Air Force 1s, as they usually do; Hailey rocked her favorite jacket that’s actually Fear of God-designed merch for John Mayer’s Sob Rock album—but either way, their looks are pretty darn similar.

As it goes, Biebs and Hails are leaning into coordination more often these days. They wore maybe their most cohesive outfit in years just a few months ago, which also consisted of boyish outerwear and slouchy denim—albeit with two wildly different degrees of “slouchy.” Maybe they felt inspired by their pals (and rumored couple) Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner, who stepped out in kindred snakeskin boots to sit courtside together at a Lakers game last week.
