From blonde bobs to baby braids, the bulk of this week’s best beauty Instagrams were a study in statement hair. For Hailey Bieber, said style was a standard slicked midi knot finished with a black ribbon, the perfect style for maintaining sleekness through all aspects of a seaside respite (boating, dining, dancing). Katherine Langford’s swideswept, undercurled honey bob offered an ode to Old Hollywood in Cannes, while Doja Cat went full-on futuristic with a close-shorn cap of icy spikes. 

Elsewhere, Billie Eilish served fans with a slider showcasing banged brunette and backwards hats, which coupled with a message for anyone who takes issue with her aesthetic choices. And while Alexa Chung took a color-changing chop for a test drive (with the help of tech, of course), Jennie Kim shared two sweetly styled updos: space buns accessorized with rosettes and face-framing plaits and low-slung pigtails bound in blue ribbons.
