Psychedelia-Inspired Footwear Models – Aries & Clarks Originals Releases Two Psychedelic Shoe Models (TrendHunter.com)

Psychedelic shoe design becomes more mainstream with a recent collaboration between the London-based brand Aries and the UK footwear giant Clarks Originals. The brand-new ‘Desert Trip’ collection sees the reinterpretation of two classic silhouettes—the Wallabee and the Desert Trek. The designs are playful, exuding an elegant whimsical property that is sure to capture attention. In addition to the psychedelic shoes, Aries and Clarks Originals release some garments—like a chic tye-dye shirt that features a co-branded graphic on the back.

The brands called in British photographer Douglas Irvine to shoot the Desert Trip collection and he “pushes the collaboration into a dream-like realm.” The images fit well with the inspiration of the capsule as they exude a surreal dream-like quality.

The Aries x Clarks Originals range is officially launching on June 9th.
