Romance-Inspired Jewelry Campaigns – Balmain’s Campaign is Shot by the Talanted Olivier Rousteing (TrendHunter.com)

French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing, who has also been the creative director of Balmain since 2011, went behind the camera lens to capture the luxury label’s new romance-inspired jewelry campaign. The mantra ‘art is life,’ or ‘vida es arte’ in French is a central theme for the visual language of the editorial. You can even see the French version of the mantra tattooed on one model’s chest. For the campaign, Olivier Rousteing reflected on questions such as “How does art work with day-to-day life, how does art become a part of life, and how can life imitate art?”
The black-and-white romance-inspired jewelry campaign is stunning in its composition and it boldly calls out Balmain’s new statement-making jewelry offerings. Some even all out “an element of futurism” in the designs.
