Experimental Shoe Collections – CAMPERLAB Releases Highly Irregular Footwear Designs (TrendHunter.com)

CAMPERLAB, the sub-brand of the Spanish footwear company CAMPER, is in the business of experimental shoe silhouettes. The label pushes the boundaries of traditional shoe design, combining art, fashion, and functionality to create unique and unconventional footwear. For the Spring/Summer 2023 season, CAMPERLAB boasts a number of experimental shoe silhouettes that pique the interest of consumers. For example, the Tormenta model is expected to drop on June 22nd. Marketed as a running shoe, the design “features a warped outsole that wraps over the upper and creeps toward the curved lacing system.”

CAMPERLAB’s philosophy revolves around embracing craftsmanship, sustainability, and individuality. This is mirrored in the Tormenta design. The upper of the experimental shoe is made with the plant-based fiber Sorona and a mushroom-derived regenerative compound called HyphaLite.
