Inkerman Is Hiring Retail Store Associates In SoHo (New York, NY)

Inkerman is a trusted and reliable maker of footwear and clothing essentials designed for any occasion. Inkerman is hiring for a lead store sales position in their NYC store located in SoHo. Small, fun and ambitious team with opportunity to grow with company.

You will be responsible for running the store, meeting and greeting customers, promoting the brand and meeting sales goals.

Job Duties Include:
● Run and operate the store ensuring a customer ready store, which includes merchandizing, organizing and light cleaning each day.
● Engage and connect with our customers by providing the highest level of service to enhance the customer experience.
● Promote and sell products to meet daily sales targets. 
● Coordinate with the team and other locations to help with sales, orders and inventory requests. 
● Educate customers on the brand and provide a personable and hospitable service, offering free samples of Four Sigmatic coffee.
● Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Desired Skills and Experience:
● Previous experience in retail sales, who is comfortable customers facing and has strong sales ability. 
● Highly organized and strong communicator 
● Must be able to multitask and work in busy environment. 
● Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude who is comfortable working with a start-up mentality. 
● Team player and reliable

The compensation package will start at $22/hr (and upwards based on your experience in the retail sales profession) plus sales commission on top. Full-time role available and candidate must be able to work weekends.
