Sleek Mary-Jane Sneaker Hybrids – Cecilie Bahnsen and ASICS Join Forces on the GT-2160 (TrendHunter.com)

Cecilie Bahnsen works in collaboration with ASICS to launch a new iteration of the GT-2160 sneaker model. The silhouette has been transformed to a Mary Jane hybrid model and this follows the previous collaboration where the shoe was embellished with dynamic detailing.

The designer aims to celebrate the blend of everyday couture through feminine looks, fusing that together with the technical expertise of ASICS for a unique hybrid look. The shoes are now available to shop online and it is detailed with sci-fi looks around the front. The campaign is shot by Japanese photographer Takashi Homma. According to the press release, Homma was looking to “exude a sense of freedom.” The shoes come in two colorway options of black or white.
