We can just say it: baseball players are not generally known for being well-dressed. For a multitude of reasons, Major League Baseball is galaxies behind the NBA and NFL when it comes to fashion. That doesn’t mean that every player is a lost cause, though. Far from it, as it turns out.

On Tuesday morning at Seattle’s Pike Place Market, MLB rolled out its annual red carpet (it was technically pink, thanks to T-Mobile) to let its All-Stars stunt a little bit. And wouldn’t you know: even in a sport where players often wear flat-brimmed hats even off the field, some of them are pretty good at getting dressed up. Credit to the stylists, wives, and other influences that helped these looks come together.

We knew people like Shohei Ohtani and Julio Rodríguez would look great. But some lesser known players, and even a few mascots, dazzled as well. Here are the hits—pun fully intended—from the 2023 red carpet.
