Albus Lumen Société launches artist in residence program
Albus Lumen Société’s first artist in residence is Max Rixon, with his body of work Poetica de Domina – Portrait of a Lady.
Max Rixon is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Sydney. Much of his recent work has taken shape through the medium of sculpture. His first solo exhibition Poetica de Domina – Poetry of a Lady, portrays the relationship he sees between humankind and its own creations. These sculptures exhibit a sense of order in chaos, purpose in uncertainty, and maximalism through minimalistic aesthetics. Rhythmic, yet quiet, a balance in duality. They will be on display at the Albus Lumen Société space in Bondi.
